Season 2026/2027
During the 2026/2027 season, we explore the theme Roots and origins – the connection between music and human history, origins, and our bond with nature.
The 2026/2027 season sees the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Swedish Radio Choir joined by guest conductors and soloists in music spanning several centuries, up to the present day. The orchestra’s new Chief Conductor, Andrés Orozco-Estrada, leads them in several concerts. The Swedish soprano Malin Byström is Artist in Residence, and the theme “Roots and origins” runs as a unifying thread throughout the season.
