Are there cloakrooms and how much does it cost to leave outerwear/bags?

Yes, there are both staffed and unstaffed cloakrooms for you as a visitor. The unstaffed cloakrooms are free and are located on the upper floor and the stalls floor (-1). Staffed cloakrooms are located on the entrance floor and the stalls floor (-1) and cost 30 SEK. Payment is by card.

Where can I buy programs?

At Berwaldhallen and Swedish Radio, we believe that important information should be free. That is why, from 2025, we will switch to simpler program folds that do not cost you as a visitor anything. You can delve into different parts related to the performance by finding it in our calendar.

Wheelchair and assistant seats

How much does a wheelchair space cost, and can my assistant come with me?

Wheelchair seats are priced the same as the 2nd row section above stage right/left. Your assistant is welcome to accompany you free of charge. Wheelchair and assistant seats are booked by contacting us. We do not charge a service fee for these bookings.

How many wheelchair spaces are there and where are they located?

There are six wheelchair spaces on the stalls floor, which you can reach by elevator from the entrance floor: Five of the spaces are located at the back of the hall on the left side, with an assistant seat next to each. One space is located on the front left side of the stalls and is specifically intended for those with impaired vision.

Are the wheelchair spaces adapted for different widths?

Yes, there are seats with different width capacities. The seats along the walls have a maximum width of 90 cm. For wider seats, we recommend that you book seat No. 419 or 380 in row 15.

Disabled

Is there disabled parking?

Yes, there are two disabled parking spaces just to the right of the main entrance. These spaces cannot be reserved in advance and are offered on a first-come, first-served basis.

Is there an elevator in the building?

Yes, there are elevators that go to all three floors.

Are there disabled toilets?

Yes, disabled toilets are available on all three floors.

Visually/hearing impaired

Can an assistance dog accompany me?

Yes, assistance dogs are welcome to accompany you into the Berwaldhallen.

Are there hearing aids?

Yes, the hall is equipped with a hearing loop. The hearing loop lets you hear the performance more clearly through your hearing aid or cochlear implant (CI). You’ll need to switch your hearing aid or CI to the hearing loop setting.
