Mythology and modernism

Mythical figures and modern expressions meet when Marie Jacquot leads the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra through a program where dreams, elegance and Nordic drama coexist. Mao Fujita is the soloist in Francis Poulenc's playfully sparkling piano concerto, surrounded by Jean Coulthard's lyrical depiction of the sleeping shepherd Endymion, and Hugo Alfvén's atmospheric An Archipelago Tale. A concert where imagination and richness of sound take shape in three completely different musical worlds.
