The Swedish Radio Choir celebrates 100 years
Recorded in Berwaldhallen in October 2025. Relive the celebration as one of the world’s leading choirs marks its first century with a dazzling anniversary concert. The concert will be published on October 17.
The Swedish Radio Choir celebrates 100 years of brilliant, trailblazing singing and continuous artistic evolution. The anniversary concert, recorded in Berwaldhallen in October 2025 under the direction of Chief Conductor Kaspars Putniņš, opens with a newly composed mass featuring one movement each by six Swedish composers. The programme then continues with modern classics and romantic gems from the choir’s rich repertoire – along with a few surprises.
