The Swedish Radio Choir celebrates 100 years

As part of the Ukrainian Spring Festival, an evening of Finnish and Ukrainian music and poetry unfolds under Lesya Ukrainka’s words Spera spem spero (“Without hope, I hope”). Musicians from the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra perform Sibelius’s Voces Intimae and Lyatoshynsky’s String Quartet no 4.

In the fifth part of Esa-Pekka Salonen's residency, the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra's principal guest conductor Maxim Emelyanychev takes the podium and leads the orchestra initially in Salonen's symphonic poem and more Nyx.
