STRAVINSKY’S L’HISTOIRE DU SOLDAT
Stina Ekblad, one of Sweden’s most well-known and beloved actors, performs with inimitable skill Igor Stravinsky’s tragic L’Histoire du soldat about a simple man, tempted by the devil, who ends up losing everything. With subtle but effective dramatic means, Ekblad slips seamlessly between the three roles – Narrator, Solder and Devil – accompanied by members of the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and conductor Alan Gilbert in this recording from March 27th, 2020.
