Fanny Robilliard to be the new 1st Concertmaster of the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra

Fanny Robilliard joins the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra as 1st Concertmaster, alongside Malin Broman. She has a broad international background as a soloist, chamber musician and concertmaster. She has studied and worked in France, Munich and Berlin, including at the Karajan Academy of the Berliner Philharmoniker, and has appeared as guest concertmaster with orchestras including the Finnish Radio Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande and Orchestre de Chambre de Paris.
After many years of dedicated searching, we are very pleased to have recruited Fanny Robilliard as the new 1st Concertmaster of the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra. This position is central to the orchestra’s artistic direction and leadership, and being able to fill it now, after one of the two positions has been vacant for several years, is an important and very welcome step forward for the organisation - Josef Beltzikoff, Orchestra Manager

Driven by her instinct and her passion for music, Fanny Robilliard enjoys a varied and international career. Having completed her studies in France, she spent a few years in Munich, studying and playing with the Bavarian Radio Symfony Orchester, and later on in Berlin, where she completed a Konzertexam and joined the Karajan Academy of the Berliner Philharmoniker. First prize of national and international competitions in France, she often performs as a soloist with regional and national orchestras in France, as well as Beethoven Orchestra Bonn and Symfony Orchester der UDK Berlin.
A passionate chamber musician, she has been a member of Trio Karenine for six years, recording many albums, performing in worldwide venues (Philharmonie de Paris, New-York Frick Collection, Het Concertgebouw Amsterdam, Konzerthaus Berlin..) and playing alongside fellow musicians from the Belcea Quartet, Ebene Quartet and Doric Quartet among others. A member of the European Chamber Music Academy, she studies music with Johannes Meissl, Hatto Beyerle and Avedis Kouyoumdjan.
A sougth-after konzertmeister, she is a guest of the Finnish Radio Symphony, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Orchestre de Chambre de Paris, Orchestre National de Lille and Orchestre National des Pays de la Loire. She is invited to guest at the Berlin Philharmoniker, the Lucerne Festival Orchestra and the Chamber Orchestra of Europe.
She is the founder of chamber music festival « Coups de foudre » taking place in Champagne.
Fanny Robilliard plays a wonderful violon by Nicolo Amati dated 1627 and generously lended to her by Foundation Culture et Musique
