Beethoven, Biss & Broman

Acclaimed pianist and Beethoven specialist Jonathan Biss is back in Berwaldhallen with Beethoven’s breathtakingly beautiful Piano Concerto No. 3 and the American composer Caroline Shaw’s piano concerto Watermark, written on commission by Jonathan Biss, and modelled on Beethoven’s aforementioned work. The evening opens with Mozart’s exuberant overture to The Marriage of Figaro. The Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra is led by the orchestra’s concertmaster Malin Broman.
