Discover Strauss & Stenhammar

Discover the music of Strauss and Stenhammar together with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra, conductor Magnus Fryklund, and ciceron Gregor Zubicky! The concert begins with Strauss’s tone poem Don Juan, based on a play about the promiscuous charmer who ultimately pays for his dishonest life. Music based on theater is also Stenhammar’s music for August Strindberg’s A Dream Play, which captures the expressionist and dreamlike atmosphere of the play.
