Koopman & Hallenberg

The Dutch organist, harpsichordist and conductor Ton Koopman is something of a legend in the world of classical music, not least for his groundbreaking interpretations of the Baroque repertoire. On this occasion he leads the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra in Bach’s captivating Brandenburg Concerto No. 1 and Mendelssohn’s moving Symphony No. 5. In addition, we hear the acclaimed opera singer Ann Hallenberg in music by the 18th century Italian composer Giovanni Battista Ferrandini.
