The Swedish Radio Choir interprets Schnittke & Brahms

Alfred Schnittke’s 12 Penitential Psalms is based on a sixteenth century manuscript on the sins of man and the yearning for salvation. It is also a musical battle between light and dark. Johannes Brahms’s Warum ist das Licht gegeben dem Mühseligen on an ecclesiastical theme rounds off this concert with the Swedish Radio Choir and Music Director Kaspars Putniņš in Högalidskyrkan.
