Schubert, Schoenberg & Messiaen

Berwaldhallen’s season opens with the youthful energy and optimism of Schubert’s third symphony. Arnold Schoenberg’s piano concerto features lyrical and narrative elements and the concert ends with Olivier Messiaen’s symbolically charged commemoration of the victims of the first and second world wars.
