Mozart x 2 with Malin Broman & Janine Jansen

Mozart x 2 with Malin Broman & Janine Jansen

On 27 May 2023, the audience at Berwaldhallen experienced star violinist Janine Jansen performing two of Mozart’s most beloved violin concertos – the Fourth and the Fifth. The program also featured music by three French masters from different eras: Louise Farrenc’s spirited Second Overture from 1834, Gabriel Fauré’s emotional incidental music for Pelléas et Mélisande composed just before the turn of the 20th century, and Maurice Ravel’s evocative Le tombeau de Couperin, written during and after the First World War.
