The concert has been canceled - Musical Storytelling: From Scheherazade to Pippi Longstocking

Were it not for all the Krumalura pills she ate, Pippi Longstocking would have turned 75 in 2020, a respectable age for the world’s strongest nine-year-old. The books, which were some of Astrid Lindgren’s most beloved, have also been filmed, as well as turned into musicals, TV series and computer games, and now, Benjamin Staern has written a playful and exuberant piece in Pippi’s honour. Also from the world of fairy tales, comes courageous Scheherazade who conquers death, using her imagination and cunning. Dramatic stories imaginatively set to music by Ravel and Rimsky-Korsakov.
