BONUS CONCERT: MOZARTS FAVOURITE WITH EMELYANYCHEV
Stay and enjoy this bonus concert which begins shortly after the original programme.

Mozart composed no less than twelve piano concertos during a particularly productive three-year-period in 1784–86. One of these is the A major concerto no. 23 in the main programme. In only a few days’ time in the spring of 1784, Mozart threw together a chamber piece for piano and four winds in three varied movements. The piano part is often, but not always, concerto-like; the winds are also allowed plenty of time in the spotlight.

Participants:
Maxim Emelyanychev, hammer grand piano
Bengt Rosengren, oboe
Niklas Andersson, clarinet
Henrik Blixt, bassoon
Hans Larsson, horn

Programme:
WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART: Quintet for Piano and Winds K. 452, 25 mins
