Hugo Alfvén 150th anniversary sing-along

The composer Hugo Alfvén is strongly associated with Swedish choral music, and from 1910 to 1947 conducted the male-voice choir Orphei Drängar. His songs and choral works are very much alive, and as part of Alfvén’s 150th anniversary the Swedish Radio Choir and choirs from all over Sweden will pay tribute to his achievements in a sing-along concert featuring new arrangements of his music, under the direction of Prof. Cecilia Rydinger.
