Discover fin-de-siècle ballet

Through the turn of the century ballet music, a world of rhythms, colours and modernist imagination opens, as Anton Holmer makes his debut with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra. Gregor Zubicky guides you through the music created for the iconic Swedish Ballet in Paris. Darius Milhaud's jazz-influenced La création du monde (The Creation of the World) lets the myths of creation take shape in a dancing orchestral costume, while Kurt Atterberg's De fåvitska jungfrurna transforms Swedish folk melodies into a dramatic and playful rhapsody. The concert ends with the flamenco-inspired colors of Manuel de Falla's El sombrero de tres picos (the three-pointed hat). A concert filled with movement, stories and music that almost dances through time.
