Stenhammar 150 Years: Symphony No. 2

Swedish composer Wilhelm Stenhammar would have been 150 this year, and his astounding second symphony was first performed the year after the First World War broke out, straddling the tonal world of late romanticism and the strict formalism of the new century. Led by conductor Patrik Ringborg, soprano Sofie Asplund and barytone Jakob Högström, will also perform some of Stenhammar’s most beloved songs.
