This concert has been cancelled - Tchaikovsky According to Honeck

Manfred Honeck sees in Pyotr Tchaikovsky’s fifth symphony a far more nuanced work than the stereotypical image of Tchaikovsky’s music would have you believe. Underneath the attractive surface, Honeck finds a darkness and a deeper resonance that brings meaning to the charming melodies and dazzling orchestration.
