Sol Gabetta interprets Schnittke & Shostakovich

A tribute to Dmitri Shostakovich and Alfred Schnittke with Argentinian cellist Sol Gabetta, Greek conductor Constantinos Carydis and the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra: Two great 20th century composers who refused to let themselves be pressured into silence. Political unrest is also present in Minas Borboudakis’ new orchestral work Z Metamorphosis.
