Ravel, Debussy & Beamish

The Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra's own Malin Broman and Rick Stotijn premiere Sally Beamish's Double Concerto for Violia and Double Bass together with world renowned conductor Pierre Bleuse. The concert begins with Maurice Ravel's Tombeau de Couperin , with nods to Baroque composer Francoise Couperin's music, while each movement is a tribute to Ravel's two brothers and several friends who died during the First World War. Following this Claude Debussy's music for the ballet Jeux, written for the Ballet Russe in Paris.
