Mahler’s Resurrection Symphony

As spring and nature revive after winter, Berwaldhallen, the concert hall of Swedish Radio, will be filled with Gustav Mahler's Second Symphony (often called the Resurrection Symphony). Through its five movements, it takes the listener on a journey through darkness and light, life and death, love and sorrow. Daniel Harding, in his penultimate concert as Chief Conductor, will lead the Radio Symphony Orchestra, the Spanish choir Orfeó Català, Swedish soprano Johanna Wallroth, and American alto Avery Amereau in Mahler's transformative work.
