Johan Dalene in Adès’ Violin Concerto

Violinist Johan Dalene is only 20 years old and already internationally celebrated as one of Sweden’s new, global stars. The modern soundscape of Thomas Adès’ violin concerto Concentric Paths is followed by Shostakovich’s ninth symphony, written in 1945, just before the end of the Second World War. Conductor Emil Eliasson leads the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra throughout the concert.
