Hans Ek, Rantala & Wülker

With his album Go from 2020, German jazz trumpeter Nils Wülker completed an internationally celebrated album trilogy. Now, he and award-winning jazz pianist Iiro Rantala, known from Trio Töykeät for instance, meet the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra led by Hans Ek. The programme includes compositions by Wülker and Rantala, as well as music by Bach, Leonard Bernstein and Esbjörn Svensson in new arrangements by Hans Ek. Jazz and symphonic music in a close symbiosis.
