Concierto de Aranjuez

Joaquín Rodrigo’s Concierto de Aranjuez is probably one of the most beloved works written for acoustic guitar. Its second movement, interpreted in various ways by many performers, is particularly well known. Here, Jacob Kellermann performs the guitar concerto together with conductor Christian Karlsen: two acclaimed Swedish musicians, both in their premiere performances in Berwaldhallen. The programme also features Béla Bartók’s magnificent Music for Strings, Percussion and Celesta.
