Chaplin Live: The Kid
The Kid was the first feature film that Chaplin directed. It was a huge success and in 2011, the U.S. Library of Congress selected it for preservation because of its cultural significance. Fifty years after the film’s première, Chaplin re-edited the film and wrote music for it. Here, the soundtrack is performed live in typical fashion under the direction of composer and film music expert Timothy Brock.
