Musicians from the Swedish Radio Choir and the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra plays chamber music at Studio 2 in Radiohuset (the Swedish Radio), providing an intimate and engaging concert experience. Hear four composers explore the versatility of the string quartet, from lively and surprising music by John Adams to atmospheric notes by Arvo Pärt.

John Adams’ suite John’s Book of Alleged Dances, is an unpredictable and hot-headed collection of short pieces with an unrelenting energy. Film Credits and Fyrsta by Icelander Ólafur Arnalds are from his collection Living Room Songs; seven pieces composed and recorded over the course of seven days in the composer’s own flat. In addition, Music for Cello, composed by the quartet’s own cellist, Johanna Sjunnesson, will be performed.
