Adès, Bengtson & friends

Thomas Adès takes his place at both the piano and the harpsichord in a programme where his own works are presented alongside Manuel de Falla’s colourful Harpsichord Concerto. Also featured is Saint-Saëns’ charming Septet in which trumpet and piano dance together with an ensemble from the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra. Ellinor Bengtson, P2’s Classical Artist of the Year, opens the concert with Gerald Barry’s intense Trumpeter.
