NEW SEASON AT BERWALDHALLEN 2018/2019

Take part of a new exciting season in the Swedish Radio Concert Hall Berwaldhallen, home to the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Swedish Radio Choir. On April 26, we present the season, and at the same time release the sale to the subscription concerts. New for this year is that we start the season with the opening concert of Baltic Sea Festival, Mahler´s Symphony no 8 22 August, with the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra and the Swedish Radio Choir, under the lead of Daniel Harding.

During the season, the Swedish Radio Symphony Orchestra presents its new first guest conductor Klaus Mäkelä. In addition, the orchestra is hosted by young pianists in music by some of today’s hottest composers, such as Albert Schnelzer, Katarina Leyman and Jacob Mühlrad, and a pearl band of the world’s premier violin soloists. Both the orchestra and the choir maintain their international reputation and make several international tours. The concert series Svenska Stjärnor continues with several exciting guest artists.
