Baltic Sea Festival 2020 has been cancelled. We warmly wish you welcome back next year! To see how the program for August 28 was intended, see below.

The Swedish Radio Choir celebrate the film maker Charlie Chaplin in a concert combined with a screening of Chaplin’s movie The Immigrant. The Swedish premiere of composer Sven-David Sandström’s Sonnets of Love and Darkness will be performed by the trombonist Nils Landgren. Where do we draw the line between art and politics? Meet Susanna Pettersson, the Director General of Nationalmuseum in Stockholm, in a conversation livestreamed from Helsinki with journalist Erik Blix. Today’s Concert Cinema is The Book of the Sea, a modern oratorio by composer Raimonds Tiguls and author Nora Ikstena.
